Terms of Service
Last updated June 14, 2026
These terms set out the deal between you and BadgeFinder — who can use the Service, how billing and credits work, what you're responsible for when you scan and enrich someone's data, and the limits of our liability.
01Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BadgeFinder (the “Service”), operated by Infinite Improbability Invest AS (org. no. 933 337 502), Toftes gate 39 A, 0552 Oslo, Norway (“BadgeFinder”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. The Service is intended for business use.
- You are responsible for your credentials and for all activity under your account and workspace. Keep your password secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
- A workspace may include several seats. The workspace owner is responsible for its members’ compliance with these Terms.
03The Service
BadgeFinder lets you scan conference badges, extract contact details using AI and OCR, enrich those contacts with business information from third-party sources, and export or sync the results.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time and will aim to give notice of material changes.
04Your data responsibilities
You decide whose badges to scan and what to do with the resulting data. For that data you are the data controller and BadgeFinder acts as your processor. You represent and warrant that:
- you have a lawful basis to capture, enrich and use the personal data of the individuals you scan;
- you will comply with all applicable data-protection and anti-spam laws (including the GDPR and applicable marketing rules) and will honor those individuals’ rights;
- you will comply with the rules of the events where you scan badges and will not use the Service to harass or stalk anyone, or to process data in a way the law does not permit; and
- you are responsible for the content of any communications you send to your leads.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, scrape or copy the Service, resell access, or circumvent usage limits or phone-credit metering;
- upload malware or unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to breach security or access another workspace’s data;
- use the Service, or any contact data obtained through it, to send unlawful, deceptive or unsolicited communications, or in any way that breaches anti-spam and e-marketing laws (such as the CAN-SPAM Act, the GDPR and ePrivacy / PECR rules);
- resell, redistribute or build a marketing-list or data-broker product from contact data obtained through the Service; or
- use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or that is abusive.
06AI output & accuracy
OCR and enrichment are automated and best-effort. Extracted text and enriched details — emails, phone numbers, profiles and company data — may be inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, and email deliverability is not guaranteed.
You are responsible for verifying contact details before relying on them or contacting anyone, and for ensuring your outreach is lawful. Enrichment results are provided on an “as is” basis.
07Plans, billing & credits
- Paid plans, the one-time Event Pass and phone-credit packs are described on our pricing page. Phone reveals are consumable credits.
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record (reseller) for purchases; your purchase is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms, and Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes.
- Annual subscriptions (Pro, Business) renew automatically each term unless cancelled before renewal. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. You can review purchases, cancel, or request a refund through Paddle’s buyer portal at paddle.net, using the link on your Paddle receipt.
- We may change prices; changes apply to future renewals and purchases, not to the current paid term.
08Third-party services
If you connect a CRM (such as HubSpot) or another integration, your use of that service is governed by the relevant provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
09Intellectual property
We own the Service and its software, design and trademarks. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
You own the lead data you capture. You grant us the rights necessary to host and process that data in order to provide the Service.
10Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that enrichment will produce any particular result.
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BadgeFinder and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights under Norwegian consumer law.
12Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless BadgeFinder and its operator from claims, losses and costs arising out of your use of the Service or your processing of personal data in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13Term & termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to comply with law. On termination your right to use the Service ends, and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
14Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Oslo (Oslo tingrett) have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
15Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date and, where required, notified to you; continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms. Questions: joachimbm96@gmail.com.
